Who was the last No 1 draft pick NOT to receive a rising star nomination in their first year in the AFL.

Yeah St Fid, but I will put in another one to keep us going.

Against which side do we have a 0-5 finals record against.
This includes 2 Prelim Finals, and 3 semi finals.

i just got home and dad said i can give you a question before bed...

What year was the saints first flag (trick question)

and what was the flag called?

asiu

Post: # 54710Post asiu »

The St Kilda Football Club itself was not formed until 1873, containing many elements of the previously strong South Yarra club which had disbanded a year earlier, after falling on hard times. South Yarra had won the Challenge Cup in 1867 and many of its better players lined up under the St Kilda banner.
is the answer in there little castro?

No..

It is a ST KILDA first side

He he ….

I’ve given Jnr some homework to do hehe

I suppose I can’t answer his question, the little bugger spent all day at Geelong thinking up this question and couldn’t wait to get home and post it before bed.

Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!

I'll have a go.

I think we won a "Night Final" in about 1958.

It was called the "Lightening Premiership" and was played at the old Lake oval between the teams that missed the finals.

Am I close?

No

I will give everyone a clue it was before 1958 and it wasn't a night game (final)

That jogs my memory a little.

I think there was a wartime lightning premiership played at the MCG which we won. We beat the tigers I think? The quarters went for about 5 minutes each.

Must be getting closer now.

Hmmmmm, what can I come up with?

We once had a much loved player who left St.Kilda to become the coach of another team.

This gentleman caught an infection from the dye from the new teams footy jumper. Unfortunately he died before he even coached a game.

What was his name and what was the team.?
