John Beveridge @ APS Athletics Finals

Post: # 483033Post SaintBot »

Saw him today at Olympic Park for the APS Athletics Finals. Had his large binoculars and was giving his pen a good workout throughout the day.
I would think he was looking for some tall, strong, quick and enduranced young kid and making a note to go and watch him play next year. I doubt he would be scouting the 18yo's from today.

You have got to admire the dedication this guy has for his job.

I don't think he was doing it for free, mate. It's his job. Maybe he's looking for the next Brad Howard :D

(Seriously, I hope he spotted some good talent. A high jumper of 204cm would go alright...)

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Werent you there Dools? In my day the whole school had to turn up to support those competing..but maybe AGS schools are more dedicated than APS ;-)

You should have gone..as I remember the chants we had to go were verrry daggy...and you'd be the schools resident expert on those wouldnt you???;-);-)

yeah, when we come first i would start up the WOOOOOOOOOOO chant!
and instead of "goal, goal goal whoooooooooo" it would be "gold gold gold whooooooo"
and nah, i was at the races, and St Kevins has to go! HAHAHAHAH, but its optional for other schools.
