I'd be surprised since West Coast and Carlton seem to have very different ideas about what is appropriate compensation.

But they may just steer through the bullsh1t and realise it is best for all concerned to get it over and done with asap.

I think there has been a public stance and a much different private stance between the Weagles and the paper baggers regarding Judd's trade.....

That's why the Judd deal will go through quicker than expected......

:P

hudson will be a dog before the end of the day, maybe damon white aswell. mcmahon may end up at port for white.

i would think swans, dogs and demons will be the most active this week. maybe the tigers....carlton would be to if they dont drag out the judd trade.

The only-father son bid was for Darcy Daniher by North, who offered their 3rd round pick.

The Bombers chose to match this offer, and are now committed to taking him with their 3rd round pick.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Tim Boyle from the Hawks is attracting a lot of interest, and it looks like they might trade him for the right deal.

Hudson will go to the Dogs, and it looks like Damon White will shift across to the Dogs too, with Jordan McMahon and possibly Steven Tiller going the other way.

Saints interested in Steven King apparently :?

Judd deal could be announced tomorrow morning and involve Essendon.

All rumours though!!

Don't think we will ... John Peake (our recruiting mananger) summed up our list well when he said we are at the stage where drafting is the way to go, not trading or recruiting.

Looks like someone been ready BigFooty

But with the funeral in WA today it was never likely that any deal involving WC would be announced today...that would just be tacky.

I have heard that Schnieder is on the table. Would be a good fit for the saints. I think a second round would be a good swap.

Agree, Schneider would be a good fit. Only 23 years old and has played 100 games. Would give us pace and pressure through the forwardline.

I'm sure Rossy knows him well ... would be surprised if the Swans let him go cheaply though. Had his best season this year.

Would give up pick #26 + Barry Brooks.

Getting sneider would be great but as if sydney would want brookes. He can't even get a game with St Kilda let alone the Swans. I still don't understand how he manages to stay on our list

Just a heads up on Schneider - he's very very highly valued.

Sydney have an abundance of what we need - the one who is on the market will be Buchanon. They'll be looking for a good second round pick.

With Malceski, Kennelly, O'Keefe and Schneider on their list already, there's definitely scope for Sydney to trade one of them away. Buchanon is probably the one most likely to leave given a) he's a Victorian, b) he's been in and out of the team and c) he did a few things this year which saw him drop in the pecking order discipline wise.

However, he just needs a club to play him as a first-choice flanker with the capacity to play up forward or down back with time on the ball. He can do it, and he can do it well. I'm certain he'd blossom with us.

If we can use our Pick 26 to get him, I'd be delighted.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Yeah and Sydney have always had a bad record with recruiting their FFs from St.Kilda aswell....

everton if we managed to lure Amon Buchanan to St Kilda that would be a terrific get for us as long as we can hold onto pick 9.

He would fit right into our 1st 22.
