After looking at my daughter's Year 12 Discrete Maths notes, Banger is what you call a "statistical outlier". :D

According to the Melbourne website, Robert Harvey is not the oldest player in the AFL. That honour goes to James Frawley who was born 20/09/1088.

Next in line is:
Robert Harvey 21/08/1971
Peter Everitt 03/05/1974
Shane Wakelin 12/08/1974
Shane Crawford 09/09/1974
Scott West 14/11/1974

Other oldies include Matthew Richardson, Brad Johnson, Peter Bell, Brendan Lade & David Neitz.

Damn..3 years to the next oldest. Harvey has outlasted all the modern day greats, and is still going strong.

Bell has retired and I think Wakelin might have as well

Shane is still going as far as I know. Didn't know Bell had officially retired.

Yep, it looks like Shane Wakelin is playing on for another year with Clement gone. Bell has definitely retired.
