Time for RB to stand down..errr why? The spat with GT is over and done, whatever goes on in RB's private life is his business, same as anyone. The club is healthy financially, and changes have been made to address recruiting and injury/fitness management deficiencies. I think RL will benefit from his first year as coach and we will come back bigger and better in 2008..do you really want to suport a destabilising unknown??

Where does this presentation that Thomas was a rookie coach, earning $500,000- PA come from?
I seem to recall he was appointed on an interim basis in 2000, confirmed in 2001 and remained until sacked at the end of 2006.
Some put their agenda before facts.
Those who support Thomas have him a success as coach because he took the club to 2 preliminary finals, in 2004 and 2005.
So, can we please have a definition of a "rookie coach"?
And, bear in mind, my call that Thomas was past his use by date in terms of what he could bring to the playing group was made after Round 10 in 2004.
So, a Thomas fan I was not.
But I would not have labelled him a "rookie coach" in 2006.
He was a facilitator, and a very competent facilitator. A coach, no - but equally not a "rookie coach".
