I just don’t think it’s required to repeat everything in a conversation when making a comment/replying. In fact I think quoting is annoying. If someone is to daft to work it out, then they can ignore the comment.

You know Grandpa Mike. Every family reunion everybody has to cater to his absurd hate of the colour red. No rhyme or reason to it… that’s just his thing. So the whole family goes to the effort of making sure that his plates, cups etc don’t have any red on them. Put the ketchup on the other side of the table. Make sure there aren’t red cushions on his favourite chair for the post dinner sit. Of course he could just get over it instead of everyone catering to his every whim but hey… that’s just Granda Mike.

All people ever ask you to do around here is make it clear who you’re talking to and what you’re taking about Grandpa Mike… and instead of just doing that… you instead insist upon this BS carry on of being vague and confusing AF. Every week you get involved in these multiple conversations with separate people in the same thread and we all have to tolerate the confusion and the derailment that comes with people asking who you’re talking to, or was that post for them, or what ur referencing etched .

Requires little to no effort on your part and everyone would really appreciate it… but nope, too much of a bother for you.

Really depends on the context.

Sometimes a weighted value on a particular way of thinking could be a sign of autism… especially if it’s evident from a young age and prevalent across the lifespan (effect of support/severity) not withstanding.

Alternatively, sometimes people suddenly latch on to mechanisms to obtain/maintain power/control. That’s a bit more to do with narcissism. Other times… people just like messing with others or winding people up. That’s really more just being a jerk. It happens.

That being said… it’s not my finest example.
