He also rolled his ankle towards the end of the game.

The club is saying he is a big chance to play which I find hard to believe.
Even if he does play he will be severely underdone.

Just like any game against a bottom 4 team, if we win it's just a bottom 4 team, if we lose, it's a bottom 4 team.

6-6 at York Park in Launceston.

2-2 vs Hawthorn in Launceston.

It is meant to be 19° and sunny in Launceston on Saturday.
9/9 - we beat Fitzroy at North Hobart Oval in a match in Hobart in 1991.
Lockett kicked a bag!
Yep, that one was included. 6 wins at York Park, 1 at Bellerive, 1 at North Hobart.

Given Hawthorn beat WB, who thrashed us by controlling the ball (and have done it before against us), imagine the vitriolic response on this Forum if Hawthorn also beat us!!!!!

No St Kilda player will be spared - all duds by varying descriptions of their missing attributes

The internet, hey?

And keypads!!!

Thankfully, Lyon being the greatest coach of all time, will have a plan up his sleeve.

Is there any chance we could reach out to Barry Robran or perhaps a Norwood official from the last 30 years to deliver the pre-match address.

This might be enough to get the Saints across the line.

If St Kilda is half decent then they will beat the Hawks.

Thank you for your contribution, DB Cooper

Barrie Robran, who is of the same vintage as me, was indeed a champion footballer for North Adelaide (the side Wilkie played for)

And also a State cricketer where he and I played for the same side

His knee injury was a tragedy

And his 2 sons played for Norwood, not North Adelaide

So have you actually learnt something?

I, for one, will be relieved to bank a win over Hawthorn

Then on to the next week

Barry Robran is one of my dads best friends Killa
Grew up together in Whyalla
Dad always told me Barry was the greatest ever player not to play AFL
Equally when they used to do the gf winners playoffs SANFL vs VFL Barry took a BOG against a very talented Carlton ruckman, some think he was perhaps the best of all time.

He knee injury was a cruelty as you say, the cortisone jabs have been a longer term cruelty tho

Was RTB playing for the Lions that day?

If that was the “ultimate test” then we flunked dismally.
