To assume Aliir didn’t contribute by doing the mid air kick would be laughable.
And that is the crux of it - it was a MID AIR kick - as in the ball fell loose from his shoulder so he took a wild swing at it - in an upwards projecting arc - ie a bicycle kick action - WHICH ALWAYS RESULTS IN FALLING TO THE GROUND - look at the soccer players who do it.

Higgins became the pivot point - and the fact that Higgo responded by trying to free his arm and let him go only proves the point that Higgo tried to complete his Duty of Care.

No holding the ball paid if the contest is not bought to the ground.
Therefore tackler needs to bring the opponent to the ground.
They need to change the holding the ball interpretation if they want to change these outcomes.

What if Higgins got concussed? Would Alir be suspended?

I am perplexed by our approach here. According to the matrix it's either 3 weeks or 0 weeks. Why would we even offer 2 weeks as a suggestion?

Agree

Should be arguing to get cleared

Based on those points

Why go to the trouble for the guy from Perth
for 3 down to 2

Why did Anderson say that???

We argued to get it thrown out, but if not they're arguing exceptional circumstances to reduce.

The issue is you only get one chance to put out an argument. You can't come back after being rejected to having it thrown out to try and reduce it.

You go hard to throw it out on the grounds there isn’t really a middle ground and 3 is blatantly excessive
If that fails you’d expect a 1 match penalty at worst
You don’t say “we’ll take 2??”
How dumb is that

It is obvious ...... [Sorry]

We are St Kilda
An example needs to be re-made [thanks Jimmy]
We have been told that 2 is the lowest the AFL is going no matter the arguments.
The Tribunal is a sham and a mouthpiece for the AFL
We knew the outcome before making the arguments
We bought our own Vaseline and assumed the 'position'

Remember
We are St Kilda
We 'OWE' the AFL for our very existence (remember SOS in the 80's)
Unless we all chip in and start a Class Action against the AFL we will always be 'Just St Kilda' and subject to Rogering!!!

Payne is a fkn liar

It's a fabrication to claim that Higgins began to execute a 'rotating tackle'

Watch Higgins body and head and arms in isolation without looking at Aliir. It's all one motion in one direction

Pane (AFL) says Higgins began to execute a rotating tackle before Aliir attempted to kick the football. "In other words, Higgins initiated the dangerous tackle and placed Aliir in a vulnerable position."

How can you win when their whole argument is a lie to begin with

All they're doing is fabricating evidence to fit with their predetermined penalty

The Kremlin is evil.
They're like any society or government, where favourites get looked after, and the outliers are made examples of.

I'm waiting for the next concussion caused by a Pie, Blue, or Tiger, or Bomber, to see how THAT gets treated.

This will be the only 3 week penalty ever.

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤🤍🖤 and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

They're calling it a dangerous tackle due to Jack rotating Allir. So in their eyes it's a sling tackle.

Watch Higgins body and arms.

Do not fix your eyes on Allir's body or his head slamming the ground

Does Jack twist his own body or change direction with the way he brings Aliir to the ground?
