This got complicated pretty quick. I didn't realise the fine was $20k still not sure but I doubt there is any other was to explain it other that is comes out of his net wages, after he pays tax. G'day Yorkeys, I'd respectfully point out that (in my humble opinion) the entire "shinboner spirit" or whatever they call it down at Arden Street has always been based on a "culture of vulgar abuse"..... The rubber chicken episode and other episodes over their history has shown that for me.
