The Joker is wild!!!

Post: # 2047593Post skeptic »

Jack Higgins is the guy… 0.4 in the practice match, 0.1 having missed a sitter last week and responded today with 4.1 off 13 touches and 3 tackles.

Kicked the first goal, kicked the sealer under pressure and was an absolute nightmare for the pies all evening.

What a difference slotting the easy goals makes (not that the last one was easy). Throw in 2 goal assists and 8 score involvements.

Disappointing that he missed a gettable set shot in the last but I’m happy he can take some confidence away from tonight and get back to being a deadeye snap shot.

Seriously though… how do you get him to stay confident and back himself like this? Pbly my fav player when he on.

Wish he wouldn’t try those screw kicks from more than 30m out. Otherwise a fantastic small fwds game and massive improvement on last week

Higgins played the small forward role to perfection last night, positioned himself at the spoil of the ball and snapped truly.

He can be terribly frustrating to watch at times when he squanders set shots on goal but he definitely has that spark to ignite the forward line, he would have loved bagging 4 goals playing on the big stage for the team he's always followed....

He'd be strongly tagged if he kicked 4 every week

He just got his lick of the ice cream

The ball fell for him a few times - inconsistency goes with the territory when it comes to small forwards

He might not get a kick next week

He still rushes his kicks. Even the one from the goal square. He has no routine. Not good.
