Yep it was a great conversation to listen to. Mason Wood opening up and saying so much interesting and intelligent stuff.
The interviewer guy's an enthusiast -- probably interrupting and over-engaging a little too much -- but he set up a nice rapport, which is what made Mason Wood so listenable to.
He deserves to be congratulated, thanked and encouraged -- not bagged!!
Any coaching help would say, yes, keep your questions concise and don't re-enter the point so much when your interviewee's on a roll.
Everyone can improve their technique with advice like that.
Slamming him like you did , NDSantasClaus, is totally uncalled for, and terrible coaching.
Try being a little generous. It works wonders.
