How did St Kilda end up with pick 50

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Not sure why we traded futre R3 to get someone not on the draft radar. But does sound like a great get.

“Medium midfielder who mixed his football between Assumption College and the Calder Cannons averaging 19.5 disposals and 7.1 tackles in his 11 matches for the latter in the Coates Talent League. His speed and ability one-on-one were impressive throughout the season. Was unable to test at the state Draft Combine but his 2.93 seconds on the 20m sprint at the Coates Talent League testing day at the beginning of the year gave a clear indication of his impressive acceleration.”

Fox Footy says he's a ball winning mid who can dispose, also plays as a run with mid.

Another one:

“Garcia was still able to hit the scoreboard, but more importantly brought defensive pressure wherever he went, balancing between offensive and defensive modes that helped his side. His production as a whole was consistently high, and though his kicking could improve, he is able to dish off effectively by hand.”

RTB new favourite. Two way running pure mid who kicks goals.

He’s apparently quick. This is a classic Toce pick. I reckon back the recruiters.

Looks like the saints nutritionists will be working overtime with this years draftees, and the gym will be busy.

St Kilda gets pick 50. GWS gets a future third.

It's interesting that we traded a pick in to get this kid. Toce must have seen something pretty good in his skill set.

Someone was saying they'd rather have a Liberatore than a Crouch. We might have a version of both now.

I watched a 19 minute highlights package of Garcia playing for Assumption college…he reminds me of a quicker Tom Liberatore with his tackle aggression, hard running & quick hands.
Very efficient around goals too!
