Wow! And I thought I was being a bit out there in criticing Stewart.

The main reason Stewart got the nod last year in front of James Sicily or Sam Taylor was because Cameron Ling is a selector. Stewart should never have made the final cut after missing so many games in 2022.

Last year Stewart played just 17 games. James Sicily had a better year and played 22 games of home and away. Sam Taylor played 20 h&a matches.

It's bad enough that Ling gets to commentate on every bloody Geelong game, but he also gets to be an AA selector. It's understandable that he only chooses Geelong players because the only games he ever watches are games with bloody Geelong!!
