I’m the mass exodus thread, BM suggested a whisper that Clark had his papers stamped. 4 touches in the second half after 16 in the first, a recurring pattern May be indicative of a fitness issue which has followed Clark around for several years.

Didn’t he crack the sads last season after his exit interview when he was told he needed to work harder, get fitter etc?

I remember in the North game how easily Tarryn Thomas motored away from Clark as he ran in to score a goal. Clark has a loping running style great for a marathon runner but , perhaps, not suited to the modern game?
Horribly slow unfortunately. Excellent vision but the trait in a midfielder that's worse than slow is no agility. He's got the turning circle of Dougal - no good when you need to turn on a dime to get out of trouble in congestion.

Our mids were smacked so tonight wasn’t good for your argument

Hunter is a good player

Thing is - he wants out!

Look, I rate Hunter - highly!

Not sure if the coach does, or whether he wants to stay
So which one is it BM?

Do you actually know he wants out or are you just speculating?

I have been consistent

I think he’s a good player - courage and skill

I think he’s a terrible athlete and presents in poor condition

I think he wants out

I think the coach is happy for him to go

Don’t know what?

Read the post above

I have been consistent on that viewpoint for 3-4 years

Is it difficult to comprehend

Is he a good player - yes
Is he a good athlete- no
Is he leaving - yes

You knew 3-4 years ago he was leaving?

No,

I was always a fan of his ability and critical of his professionalism

He presented poorly as a pro athlete

I have thought he will go at the end of this season since he tried to get out of his contract last season

You know he has since come out in media claiming he’s keen to stay?
I think it’ll come down to the club wanting him
I’d keep I think he is a different mid type we don’t have
But he has had umpteenth years to get fit and hasn’t ..
