You would have thought that Ross, Steele, Butler and Stoker would stay in and the others miss out. However, I suspect that Steele has been named on the extended bench because he will almost certainly miss, and Bytel will come in. Paton would then most likely be the sub.

Given that Windhager is a mid (so centre square participant) and Billings runs the flanks from forward to back, who do you leave out to accommodate them?

The interchange bench is interesting noting particularly Steele and Ross

Then you look at injecting Owens and Phillipou into the centre square)

These matters will resolve on impact on the results of games

Caminiti has given us the extra forward option but we still need support for Marshall and Howard in my opinion - noting some of the kids in the VFL side

And just to add, to me Windhager kicking goals was a plus because we need mids who can hit the scoreboard (and are otherwise precise Adelaide style with the ball)

I think the Pou is going to be a superstar no doubt, but right now , his stats don’t justify a starting centre position over Bytel - or windy for that matter. I’m assuming Steele named on the bench as he is doubtful.
