Re: Coaches Votes Round 4
Amateur hour with the media team
'15 players have polled votes in the coaches association award this year'
That would be correct if they count Mitch Owens as 2 players

Likewise.
Still dumbfounded how five people voting on Saintational omitted Sinclair from their votes and Banger9798 listed 10 players but excluded Sinclair.
Unfortunately some of that anti Sinclair bias that existed 2 or 3 years back on this site is still bubbling away underneath.

Yes , mea culpa, I noticed that I'd missed Sincs about an hour later, and could t be bothered changing it.

Re: Coaches Votes Round 4
You did the same thing round 1 against Freo when Sincs was voted by many as BOG, including one of the coaches, but you again omitted him from your listing of 10 players.Banger9798 wrote: ↑Wed 12 Apr 2023 12:00amStPeter wrote: ↑Tue 11 Apr 2023 11:58pmLikewise.

Maybe like a few others on here, you take his performances for granted and can only see others.

Same could be said of Brad Hill and Brad Crouch and sometimes Seb RossStPeter wrote: ↑Wed 12 Apr 2023 1:24amYou did the same thing round 1 against Freo when Sincs was voted by many as BOG, including one of the coaches, but you again omitted him from your listing of 10 players.Banger9798 wrote: ↑Wed 12 Apr 2023 12:00amStPeter wrote: ↑Tue 11 Apr 2023 11:58pmLikewise.

I’ve noticed some people give Sinclair best on ground nearly every week, so maybe Banger9798 votes the way he does for the sake of balance

Re: Coaches Votes Round 4
I wouldn't say "take for granted" , he is our favourite Saints player in this household. More like his output is so consistently excellent that , when it comes to votes , I've registered more whoever else has performed well that game.StPeter wrote: ↑Wed 12 Apr 2023 1:24amYou did the same thing round 1 against Freo when Sincs was voted by many as BOG, including one of the coaches, but you again omitted him from your listing of 10 players.Banger9798 wrote: ↑Wed 12 Apr 2023 12:00amStPeter wrote: ↑Tue 11 Apr 2023 11:58pmLikewise.

Our whole backline has been exceptional this year, Josh Battle doesn't get enough recognition for what he is bringing week in week out. I was keen to get him into the votes.

Re: Coaches Votes Round 4
I know Lockett averaged about 4 goals a game but I doubt he got votes for many games he kicked 4 in. Just another bias, perhaps?StPeter wrote: ↑Wed 12 Apr 2023 1:24amYou did the same thing round 1 against Freo when Sincs was voted by many as BOG, including one of the coaches, but you again omitted him from your listing of 10 players.Banger9798 wrote: ↑Wed 12 Apr 2023 12:00amStPeter wrote: ↑Tue 11 Apr 2023 11:58pmLikewise.
