Must come home to coaching/selection that they beat us twice.

Lions would kill to have Sharman in the fwd line tonight.

We play him half back.

Go figure.
Get off OnlyFans and check AFL app.
Lions are level at 3/4 time.

They monstered the Mt Hotham mob
The Dees defenders are scared and fumbling.
May gave away a free right in front, due to panic.

Last qtr gonna be a cracker
Yes go Lions.

But we still should have beaten them once this season.

Melbourne another Bulldogs? A one hit wonder?

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

we are the biggest one hit wonder in the whole damn $hit show

and have little confidence in next year after seeing how skilled these sides are and their hardness at the ball.

Dons to pants us again - Stringer to kick 5
Dogs to belt us with ease as 3 of our guys run to tackle their player who slips a handball out while the ball is whizzed down field and our Benny hill game plan leaves us chasing tail …

I actually don’t think the list is as bad as some believe.

May not be good enough to challenge, but even with the tough draw, still should have made the 8.

My view is that the club holistically has a adopted this cuddle culture where the board, admin and players are first and foremost expected to be nice people and good AFL citizens.

This appears to be the primary KPI and the playing group consequently doesn’t have that burning, fierce desire to win, because that expectation isn’t coming from the top.

Freo, Lions and the Swans were on toast and those games were winnable. But, the killer instinct just wasn’t there when needed.

The club is poorly run and the players poorly coached.

Until we have an administration that demands success and a playing group that bleeds for the guernsey, St. Kilda will just be a sh*tty football club.

Interesting observations.

I see a club which has employed Leathlen as the top dog despite being kicked out by the AFL for an indiscretion. We picked up Graeme Allen for big cost despite being suspended for one year from the AFL. We recruited Dan and Jake despite being party boys. We recruited Crouch despite his drug infringement. We could have sacked Adams immediately following his driving indiscretion but we did not. We have this year gone after De Goey but we will not get him because he is happy with Collingwood.

But it is true we set up the Danny Frawley centre and we sponsor Maddie's and the Pride matches. Maybe that is what you do not like.

So we’ve got AFL players with indiscretions who have /are playing for us and somehow that offsets our fervour to be AFL apologists?

I didn’t like Thomas but he was right (sometimes) on this point…it was his method that lacked..

How did we bear Geelong? Freo in Perth, Richmond?

In fact

How did we win at all with such an inept coach?

Because he's not inept - we just need to take our chances.
We should have beaten the lions - especially the second time.

Pretty obvious:

1. It’s a marathon not a sprint - we got sides at good times (Tigers end year much better than early)
2. We covered the ground better early and were fit. As season went any edge we had there evaporated and sides skill levels shone through …ours went backwards
3. Sides worked out our 1990’s game plan of “kick it to King” and shut down our run ….and Lo and behold! Coaches had zip response
