Agreed
Crikey some of you guys are harsh.

Blanketed in the last quarter but I thought he was quite good up until that point. Attacks the contest, decent disposal, worked hard.

Doubtful he’ll be dropped on that performance

He might be saved by Billings and Gresham in doubt.

I've been viewing this quality forum for a while. The negativity on here is unbelievable. The facts are we are 9th. We have the Hawks next week who we pumped by 10 goals earlier the year. We have the lions and swans in Melbourne. The only one I'd say we have little chance is the Cats but you never know which Saints team will show up. At our best we are top 4. We have shown that. Stay positive.

A wins a win not pretty but they lifted in the last quarter that's character building for the younger guys . It might be a little bit too late but we won & give ourselves a chance

Having said that, he's had quite a good game, very solid in this last quarter
Much prefer him up forward. He has a larger turning circle which is a liability at the back. But he did play well today as a defender

See this is what makes you a DUD. The umpiring again was biased and we again lead for nearly the entire a game. Not one free in our forward 50

OK win against a team we haven't beaten away from home since 2010

Still have issues with the forwardline primarily screaming out for another quite tall marking forward to take the pressure away from King ...... Butler with 5 but a few cheap ones

Shout out to our undersized Backline who kept the Freegles to 12 shots ..... thought Sharman was very good and cool under pressure as others have said ..... Sinclair and Wilkie with their standard great games ..... still need Howard back though

Steele and Crouch got down and dirty and found plenty of the ball and Windhager was great for a 1st year player

Like some on here I am still not convinced by Byrnes ..... scrubby disposal and iffy decision making

As for decision making Membrey holding the ball up after marking up the ground is beginning to s*** me to high heaven ..... everytime he holds it up and fails to move it on quickly allowing for the opposition to get back for his standard high kick to half forward .... he had a decent game but fk me Tim it's one side of your game you need to sort

Lose to Hawks next week and it's good night

We might get a third rounder for each, if we bargain hard.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

This is a 100% lie.

And you expect not to be called an absolute joke.

Should get banned for again posting your clueless umpiring rubbish in the game thread.

Well, that was a dogs milkshake of a game…slippery slush aside…

How about St Kilda’s complete inability to pass the ball out of D50.? Horrible.
And again, our lack of good entry into f50…

We were lucky today…two low teams..

Umps helped too.

Highlights

I thought Byrnes and Higgo showed a bit …I saw Byrnes kick a few nice ones..

I liked seeing Long come on, and in some twisted way, I was actually glad he came on and that JB was cooked for the day…

Hill took a contested mark!

Butler rode his luck..good on him

Lienert in ruck and Sharman in defence, doing what I suppose Highmore should be doing, and who runs like a sea lion were interesting. Not bad.

Wilkie and Webby and Battle plucking away as usual.

Did you think we missed Jones?

Sadly,
We still look way off it.

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!
