We have stumbled slowly towards the flag but the window is barely ajar and we require 3 KPP ( inside mid / ruck / defender) and at least 4 B grade boys to lift hard & consistent.

We need to develop these players over a few years, not look to bringing in quick fixes in the hope it will all click next season. The club is a sucker for quick fixes, and it's one of the reasons we have kept falling over for years..

That feels about right, probably the ruck being in the urgent category.

Melbourne and Footscray should give us hope.

North are like a aberration - they defy sense. How can they be so consistently decent? (notwithstanding the last few years) .

Everything North Melbourne is and was points to disaster, yet they have managed to be a decent team, in the midst of this disgusting and vile (and necessary?) whoring of football, it's fans, it's communities, it's culture, it's continuity (in the face of starvation diet) to the rationalists of media/marketing/MBAs/trips-to-America-to-see-'how its done'/ let's make Gold Coast..etc.,

I hate North f****** Melbourne...

They bought themselves a flag in '75 - '77 with as much audacity as Packer and WSCricket. But they survived the '90s. They tried to help poor Fitzroy. Cudos. They changed their name back to NOrth Melbourne after the coorporate whores told them to be Kangaroos. Big respect to that dopey cricketer from WA/commentator. They owned the Arden Street Oval. Cudos.

I think we should be in St KIlda, but that is a pipe dream for most of you. Whatever. I love/hate Moorabbin like it's my own dirty back yard.

Tasmania is an option , only, and only if the state of Tasmania is re-named the 'State of St KIlda'. Fair dinkum, it's an island like St Kilda, forgotten and wretched.

So, let's say, you lot don't wanna move to St KIlda, and stay at Moorabbin. Then what? Well, I guess, we need a figure like Grant Thomas...oR ...Ratts just suddenly becomes the Pope.

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!
