Yep. He has the last laugh
Yes and he would well know, now that he's been at Melbourne, that premiership success starts at club & player management/planning level.

If this doesn't light a fire under the saint's ass, I'm not sure what will. We have waited too long!

Tight game for three quarters, then the best team in the comp exerted their dominance.

Congrats Dees, hopefully we’re next! 👍

The only prediction you’ve got right is the one you copied off me :D

You’re welcome Secret Kiel, about time you got a ‘win’!

Turned it off. f****** boring after half time. Only person I m happy for is Brown. Get the arse from the wooden spooners only to play in a premiership. Dreams are made of that sht.

Can’t even get things that have already happened correct, let alone predictions, what a shock! :D

Melbourne's clearance work was out of this world once they flicked the switch later in the piece. Didn't see the magnitude of that turnaround coming.

The Dogs were right in the game and then they weren't in a short space of time. Their midfield in the end got destroyed. Melbourne's surging run became an unstoppable tsunami.

I know of one former saints official that is more than happy now that the Saints decided to pass on Petracca.

Alan Richardson of course.

Shows how much work we need to do fitness wise. Melbourne's running in waves, both ways, was phenomenal. From the opening bounce until their final goal. Super impressive.

Not so good in the second quarter though. I thought the doggies had them.

Then along came Petracca.

I think that is it though saynta. If Melbourne did not have that ability and belief in their fitness, they would have rolled over. The final two minutes of the third quarter knocked the stuffing out of the Dogs. Those goals were some of the best gut punches that could be delivered.
