Good for Membership I guess. Not sure what his role would entail or whether he attracts sponsorship interest. Obviously his playing prowess was highly regarded. I find it strange that he would hold a grudge against Richo and stand so loyally by Lyon, as when Lyon left he had already been hacked away at by Ross physically for years to no avail and obviously endorsed the way Ross ran the list down before skipping town.

Pretty simple. Ross got them into Grand Finals so the older group of players (except Ball who Ross wanted more output from for his salary) loved him. The older group may also having been drinking their own bath water, got cocky and went for $$$ over development. They fried the midget and undermined Richo who was actually charged with fixing up Lyons mess.

Senior sides have destroyed many a good coach at St Kilda, and in recent times, although I feel not so much for Richo, he was very much a victim (or perpetrator) of Ratten's final coaches message

Chris Judd is on the Blues Board.
Eddie on the Pies Board as well as being President.
So if you want to work actively in the media and to also contribute to a club. Being on the Board is the ideal role.
Coaches have limited Media roles.
