Just starting the thread. Will post my votes shortly, once I have picked myself up off the canvas.

It's a know from me .No votes from me this week can't reward absolute mediocrity

So first a disclaimer . Some of these blokes were just the least worst in a shocking effort.

5. Nick Hind. The only player who won his position , who used it well, who KICKED STRAIGHT !!

3. Josh Bruce. Worked hard, clunked a few.

2. Blake Acres. Yes, lots of errors, but was prepared to take the game on , with some level of success.

2. Jack Billings . Not the stellar game of last week, but some nice things , and tackling has improved.

1. Jack Sinclair. Faded out, but very good ball use in first half.

1. Jade Gresham. Did a few good things.

1. Dan Hannebery. Faded out but to be expected. Terrific first quarter

Hind - was okay
Hannas - first game in a long time
Marshall - battled alone
Billings - not as bad as most of his teammates
Battle - 8 marks, 7 tackles. Generously gave Brisbane 7 points just when could least afford them. Gets a vote because the rest stunk even more.

Why are people giving our blokes 5,4 and 3 votes when most of them just played well for half a game?

2. Hannebery - when under pressure gave it to a team mate.
2. Hind - kicked straight.

You can't give Ross votes as he kicked to them more than us.

3 Hind

Interesting nobody gave Ross a vote and yet the idiots in The Age gave him votes this week and last.
They only look at number of possessions.

He was woeful, never looks just kicks it anywhere. Setting a terrible example as captain, doesn't value his possies.
Lots of negativity toward him in the crowd at the game, rightly so.
needs a spell in the twos to work on his effectiveness.

5. Hind
4. Hannerbury
3. Billings
2. Acres
1. Battle

An indictment that a 2nd game VFL rookie and a debut game for an underdone midfielder were clearly our best.

Excellent first up game Hanners & keep seizing your chance Hindy.
