I know it’s been done and it won’t change but I just heard Bwooce Macawanker label Eddie Betts one of the best small forwards ever.....noting him alongside Matthews and Moriarty etc....

I like Betts great player but I never ever hear anyone say : Stephen Milne might be worthy of consideration in that...( I did hear Matthew Richardson politely remind him of this one night....).

Betts has now played over 300 games , he’s kicked 585 goals at 1.91 a game - great record
Milne played 275 kicked 574 goal at 2.09 a game

I know many don’t like Milne even now when you mention his name as a great player opposition twit fans reply with “hated him” but big Shyte - respect is due, Milne was a gun small forward worthy of consideration among the all time GENUINE (read player who specialises as a small forward) greats.

FWIW I don’t have Mcavaney in my all time great commentators - IMHO he’s friggin annoying, gushes in his pants way to much and ought to be shown the door.....just my view......but I respect the fact he’s seen by many as one of the best ever.....

Purposefully underrated due to supposed indiscretions - Malthouse unfortunately fuelled the fire when he called him a rapist.

Most definitely one of the best small forwards the game has ever seen and doesn't get the kudos he deserves outside of the St.Kilda Footy Club. Who can forget his 11 goals against Brisbane in 2005 - I've never ever seen a small forward do anything like that before - it was an absolute freak show.

Kudos to the big Texan for what he said about Milney. Taylor Walker was being interviewed after the match by Jimbob Brayshaw amd Jimmy Bartel. They were doing the usual time fillers and showing replays of the Betts goals and Texan said he reckoned Betts is probably one the best small forwards ever and probably sits alongside Milney
