Finish reminiscent of the Carlisle marking contest in the back non-decision against GWS last season.

Well, I reckon around 10 more hitouts and around 10 less clearances mightn't have helped either...I think Steven might have made a difference there too.

That was there for the taking, we seriously need to improve our forward 50 work.

Best team effort in two years. A grinding gutsy performance that almost pulled the rabbit out of the hat. Be proud of your team.

I dreaded this more than a beating - a 'brave interstate loss'..of course I'm proud that we fought back, but I dread the next three weeks! I hope my senses are proven to be BS.
Damn!

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Well done saints, could easily have won it.
Happy if they give that effort each week. Plenty to work on. Need a couple of changes next week. Parker and sincs to have a spell, kent must be under scrutiny.
They need to move the ball on quicker or play another tall forward. Or both.
Hard to be disappointed with that though

Jack Billings has been awesome this year... bloody loved his game tonight, he messed up a few times... Should have taken a couple shots he elected to pass but he's really building at the moment.

Great effort overall. Probably should have stole that in the end though. Bad luck boys. Those few misses in the 3rd qtr cost us in the end.

The first 3 weeks have been fantastic by the playing group.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Steven would have made the difference, one would think.

Walters beat us by himself last year didnt he?
He was their most influential player again

Lost opportunity today

I guess you weren't actually watching the game. Kent was very strong.

We should've won that.

We were the better side after quarter time.

Soft free kicks and not paid against Newnes in tge last 2 minutes straight in front.

Well done boys.

Wouldnt be surprised if we have either Kent or Parker have a rest next week.

I feel for the players. Gave their all and were the better team. But we can not simply keep putting our deplorable disposal inside 50 down to "poor choices." This has gone on too long... There must be instruction. If not, how is it not addressed already??

Four points lost.

WTF is wrong with Sinclair and Acres?
Dunstan had more possessions than both put together!

And thus you can see the need for another tall marking forward. When you are ready King, come on down.

We were murdered out of the middle despite winning the hit outs easily. Really missed Jack Steven.

I don;t know why they didn't throw Acres into the middle for a few center bounces.

Should have won....5 more scoring shots at goal.

Several passengers though. Kent had a shocker. McKenzie let his man in for 3 easy goals, Parker disappointing and Dunstan just kept turning it over.

Unfortunately our midfield couldn't take advantage of Marshall's ruck dominance.

Fresh legs mightn't be a bad idea though, provided Long has been any good the last 2 weeks...certainly didn't do himself a lot of favours with his first game and needs to earn his spot with Kent in the team.
