Conditions look good!
Why the hell would you put a footy ground right on the beach??

Losing 16-5 half time.
Hickey ok in ruck. Freeman, Marshall and Lonie going ok. Plus no 17. Crap conditions. Bruce has hardly touched it.

Freeman at the bottom of many packs , very encouraging. I know we want him to use his pace outside, but today is not that sort of day.

Baroose aimed that ball right of the right point post and the wind took it through for a behind on the left.
Abysmal conditions.

Shocking game.

1. We need to get Tom Lamb in this year's draft. Was stupid not to take him originally.
2. Has anyone seen Freeman in this last QTR? Or have they shut him down for the afternoon?

Re: Sandy v Williamstown
I used to follow the VFA a lot, and Willy was always a bad place to play and watch footy. It ALWAYS blows down there. Days like today however, are just awful awful awful. Impossible to judge who might come in for Webster assuming he will be out after the bye.
A Willy player just had a set shot 30 m out directly in front . He started the ball to the right of the right behind post, and it blew back in for a goal.

Re: Sandy v Williamstown
Havent heard or seen Freeman at all in the last
Saw a Bruce mark
and Hickey has some power in that left foot of his
But the team is shot today - cant play the conditions - and looking at a record low score

Yep, as bad as the conditions are, Sandy have been awful . Down 9.10 to 0.8 with only a few minutes to go.
Freeman has been off for most of the last quarter. I think he is OK. They have a boundary rider on the commentary ( Ellie Blackburn) and she has made no mention of an injury.

Re: Sandy v Williamstown
We had 15 St Kilda players in that team compared to none for Williamstown (stand alone.
While it was on their dung hill they managed to kick 11 goals. What an absolutely pathetic effort by St Kilda/sandy. Talk bout no depth.

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
βIf we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.β
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Re: Sandy v Williamstown
The conditions were close to the worst I have ever seen for that level of footy. Probably the worst actually. Lets not read too much into it. There was barely a clean possession the entire game.
