If so, hopefully he won't take up too much of the war chest. He'll be 28 in 2018, so he's not exactly a long-term investment.
Time to get the Rocky rumour mill in full swing!

I really think paying this guy what he'll want will be clutching at straws. If we were to get him, the marketing department would try and present him as a franchise player, a star, but I've never seen the evidence.
I guess he'd be in our best 22, but he'd also be an expensive twat and I feel like it's not the right way to go. We should try and import genuine guns who will be around for a while, not plug leaks with guys that cost too much. There's nothing wrong with growing your own and I would like to think the club has the faith in its players and itself to be able to do so without paying too much for a guy like this.
Playing him for 3 years at the expense of Gresham, Acres, Sinclair, Long et al, who could be around for another 10+, is too short-sighted.

No one stood out for Brisbane so I had to check the Record to see what number he was. When I realised which one was Rockliff I was very disappointed. Didn't strike me as a gun and you could see bad vibe written all over him

Geez I hope the club doesn't classify him as a 'gun', or they've lost the plot big-time

Throw cash at someone younger please.
howlinwolf wrote:Why not keep Armo !
I think there's just as much there in the bank as Rockliff.
He's not the one to chuck a bucket of money at.

Armo's body is shot.
Rocky won't cost a bucket of money!

He doesn't know how to win and play in winning sides.
No thanks
