...and Junior* Riewoldt is presenting the Cup to Georgie Hayes .

*William Frederick Riewoldt or "Junior", as he is still known around the club, despite being 85 years old, played 389 games for the club from 2036 to 2056, and was captain for 10 years from 2044 to 2054. He played in three winning Grand Finals which all saw the Saints come back after being behind at three quarter time. He then went on to coach the club from 2060 to 2070, winning 4 flags including three in a row. Georgie Hayes is a three time Brownlow Medallist and is the great grand son of former great Lenny Hayes. This is the Saints 16th flag, now one ahead of Collingwood.

He'd probably slip, fall and drop it. He has form, you know. Last time we won, he fainted!

This is not as ridiculous as it sounds.

“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
