Parsons & Menegola likely suspensions.
Good news.
Never heard of Parsons but is Menegola the same Richmond one?

Re: Parsons & Menegola likely suspensions.
Parsons debuted last week I believe.
Menegola is a good mature age player (25) who debuted last year after time in the WAFL. Was in their best this week, at least as far as rankings go with 31 possies, 10 tackles and a goal.

They might call in another couple of "expendables" to target Steven or any of our other prime movers. Never forget who their coach is.

Re: Parsons & Menegola likely suspensions.
We match up well against Geelong -win last year and draw in 2015.
We will be underdogs but if we give them pressure at every contest I think we can beat them.
Seb to play on Dangerfield again and Brown will need to keep Hawkins quiet.

The pussies were about as bad as the Dawks in the first 40 minutes, they finished the game strongly and are a different side with their cat tails up.... if we pressure enough early we should roll them. Just need to kick straight in the first half for once. Im hoping Hickey can dominate and give us some first use.

It wasn't until Hawthorn quit that the Cats stated their downhill skiing. They were very mediocre when the pressure was on.
To be fair, Dangerfield couldn't breathe which didn't help them.

He is likely to be sore this week -a few crunching tackles will test him out.

Re: Parsons & Menegola likely suspensions.
Let's not forget the cats led by 33 at 3/4 time. The game wasn't even over, technically speaking. Up to that point, the game wasn't much of a spectacle. Error ridden. They jagged 11 straight after the Hawks clearly chucked the towel in. I think the cats are a bit like the Tigers ATM. They've not really been tested to any great degree. Lucky to beat north, struggled to beat an inaccurate Melbourne and beat a very poor side yesterday. Factor in they have kicked 75. 33 and they've had everything go right so far.
The thing I envy about them is their kicking for goal, but even that was poor when the pressure was on yesterday. Contrast their conversion with ours. We've got 49.69 to show for our troubles. So we've generated more scoring shots than them and had we converted better we'd be at least one win and a swag of percentage better off. They've struggled at Etihad this year as well. A very winnable game, methinks.

I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

I'd be asking Mav to pay him 'special attention' in the first 5 minutes. If he gets the ball,he gets wrecking balled.longtimesaint wrote:He is likely to be sore this week -a few crunching tackles will test him out.

Another game that could be decided by the accuracy (or inaccuracy) of our goal kicking
I think we will have our chances to win this one. Cats are a long way behind the Crows imo
