Did his knee in the 1966 2nd semi and never played again. He was almost in the same class as Stewart and Baldock as far as skill was concerned and he could take a mark with a leap. His elbows sometimes seemed to connect with opponents jaws because he was very hard at the ball, even when the ball was not there. He was just 23 when he played his last game. A real tragedy. As the next few years revealed, he was a large part of the reason we made the GF in 1966.
