with all due respect jonesy, supporters complaining about umpires , when has that done anything? Thommo was right, they do need to check their ego's at the door. They do umpire according to who the player is. Wonder what Josh Bruce did.

Jonesy, I can promise you that every single Saint at Etihad was screaming blue murder. You just could not hear us because we were outnumbered by blue and white tools barracking for the ducker.

I've watched the replay and as usual it wasn't as bad as it looked when surrounded by Saints fans.

But still there were some shockers. My top three.

Weller's unrealistic attempt in the first quarter may have been because he was shoved in the middle of the back.
Cunnington gets tackled, the ball spills out, he absolutely, definitely, 100% drags the ball back in and you hear the umpire say "no, he didn't drag it in"
And the Bruce tackle where Thompson just took him on and then dropped it cold.

The club is apparently seeking clarification on the free against Hickey for contact below the knees. That seems a little pointless given that they have been paying them for a few years now. Time would be better spent asking what Josh Bruce needs to do to get a free.

I missed the free against Hickey but I think the one we're questioning went against Dunstan - he was scrambling after the ball and a North player tripped over him. If those are gonna be paid, you'd never be able to pick the ball up off the ground!

Either the UMP were under instruction to give north a ride for Boom flogs milestone or we had the C team special out there. it didn't add up and it's turning me off afl tbh. some of the worst i have ever seen. as always it happens in our games.

It's definitely hickey on Waite that they are questioning. But the one against Dunstan was a worse decision.
