Think Firey might be on bottle #3 of Bin 333, Doc!

Lot to be said for PC's with proper keyboards.

No he wasnt. Even P66 has acknowledged that he was at fault.

But he is gone from here. Catch him over at Bigfooty. Doing good work over there.

McCartin will be a GUN! Kosi, God love him, was less than spectacular in his final years with the club, and yet got the benefit of the doubt from lots of folk. Paddy is still a kid, give him a chance!

I think McCartin will be a gun- if he can stay healthy. I am incredibly concerned that this is his 4th concussion since late 2014 (especially in the wake of Justin Clarke's retirement at age 22 and Maguire's retirement last year). A lot was made during the game about his diabetes, and while he had concussion (not a diabetes-related emergency as they were insinuating during the broadcast), it could be possible that the diabetes is contributing to his susceptibility to concussion. Found this article online which talks about diabetes in relation to concussion which is quite startling. http://www.gamechangerexpert.com/diabet ... diabetics/

Probably worrying over nothing but surely, with all the talk of Rooey and his many concussions, this has to be troubling for the club that a 20 year old (who already has a condition they are struggling to control) has had so many in so short a time.

Still a young fella - correct me if i'm wrong but i think he's played 8 AFL games to date. 20 yrs old next week.
I can't help comparing Paddy's appearances to Bruchey's 49 appearances to date.
Paddy certainly looked like a big-boned lad as he sat on the bench behind Nick on the Sat. arvo tv coverage. I couldn't help think that Paddy no doubt has physical targets such as getting stronger but at the same time nurturing endurance & speed targets etc.
This combination of physical attributes doesn't necessarily appear that easy to get right in the short term. Fortunately Paddy does seem to have the footballer's grey matter attributes which must encourage him a lot I would have thought. It may only be a case of on-going regular game-time that Paddy needs before he is able to bring the strength, endurance & quickness into harmony in the one package.
I also think it's great for Paddy to see Bruchey there rolling along well with his own development and showing what the extra 40 games have done for him.
I like the two young & younger KP fwds we have now @ St. Kilda and hope to see them making regular 2016 appearances.
Paddy by some accounts brings a great attitude towards his own football craft and with the likes of Dempster, Rooey & Montagna (sorry to only name these obvious examples) he probably has a pretty clear idea of how he's going.
I think Paddy is going well.
Now if Carlisle is going as g... ah I'm getting greedy again but you never know he might return a bit more mature & a bit wiser.
I'm holding on to this half full glass but the grip is actually quite relaxed.

The display @ the G on Saturday was inspiring to say the least and a great reminder of what is possible. :D

You wont. Tbis thread proves the bloke is an out and troll.

Only comes on when we lose.

Only Saints fans are celebrating tonight.
At least I am prepared to post my opinion. You Bunk are pathetic and all you do is attack the poster.

If everyone calmed down they would realize I still think Paddy will be a good player. I just firmly believe he should not have been picked anywhere near pick 1. And Bunk, you are like a broken record. Still spouting off the same dribble year after year.

Huh? I don't get it Citywest. You brand Paddy "the biggest recruiting disaster of ALL TIME" and now you defend such a strange post by saying you still think he will be a good player?

When I lived in Melbourne many moons ago City West was the cop shop opposite the Flagstaff Gardens. It specialised in dealing with the wine-sodden derros that lived in the Gardens. Gotta say some of those customers' opinions expressed about as much logic! :P

CW, if you post an OP like you did on this thread, don't expect anyone to understand how you can also say he'll be a good player. Completely illogical.

Wasn't an opinion, it was a troll and you copped a warning for it. About time to.

It is obvious you are very confused as you say he will be a good player.

Totally without logic considering the OP.

But that is you. Always illogical and then get huffy when called on it.

Hope you enjoyed the warning for trolling.

If Paddy is as good as Kosi was, he's worth pick 1.

Kosi wasn't the player Roo was, but still played 200 games, of which over 150 were at a very high match-winning level.

Saw a clip of Jonathon Brown giving Paddy a real rap. He seems to believe Paddy will more than justify his No 1 selection.

I like Brown - straight talker, little modern football speak and jargon. Natural footballer, too, which is obviously one thing that appeals to him about Paddy.
