Exactly the same as first halves.

Unfortunately players are dropping like flies at the moment for Sandly

Lost Lee last week, now Eli and Payne too.

Was Markworth number 42?
The commentators and the website seem a bit confused in which players are which.
The list of goal kickers doesn't include Clint Jones but I could have sworn he kicked two in the first half.

The record didn't have a 42 listed which might explain why they called him Payne even after Payne was carried off.

fair enough
but seriously he hasnt done much in the last few weeks
couple of lucky opps and a couple of good grabs

the hype from the media and everyone else has put massive pressure on him
put mems in the square and bruce to roam outside the 50 maybe?

From Saints.com

"Brendon Payne injured his ankle and had to be stretchered off the ground in the first term, while midfielder Eli Templeton hurt his hamstring but was able to run out the game.

Both Payne and Templeton will have scans to determine the severity of their injuries this week."

Possibly because they called him Roberton in the last quarter and I am fairly sure he played down in Tassie.

Templeton was in front of me for the second half so- safety first I feel-
only 2 on the bench from 5 -with Zija also off

St Kilda Development Coach and Sandringham Coach Paul Hudson was pleased with the win but lamented poor ball use early.

"It was a good win for us," Hudson told SAINTS.com.au.

"Our skills weren’t great early and to lose two key players in Brenton Payne and Eli Templeton didn't help, but to the boys' credit we were able to regroup and swing the momentum in our favour.

"Running out the game as well as what we did and to win by a healthy margin was really pleasing.

"Our ball use and intensity is something we'll need to bring from the start against Geelong next week, so that will be our focus."

Sandringham returns to Trevor Barker Beach oval next Sunday to take on 11th placed Geelong.

Such was the sheer one-sidedness of the game; Daniel Maitland’s goal midway through the third term had Sandringham up by 100 points. Northern Blues finally troubled the scorers 29 minutes into the quarter, ending a run of nearly 20 straight Zebras goals.

Highlight of the game came in the third term, when Matthew Kreymborg produced a Wayne Harmes-like diving save to knock the ball back into play. Smashed back into the path of Neiwand, he was able to pick it up and snap with the outside of his boot.

With the major well into the 100s, Sandringham took their foot off the pedal to win the last quarter by just 11 points. Zebra’s tempo had dropped off and there was nothing more Sandringham could do – they had slaughtered the Blues.

Sandringham will head into their final bye on the back of sensational form. Zebras will be hoping there mid season slump does not become their undoing.

Seniors
Sandringham has kept on their winning ways, putting in a business-like performance to defeat the Northern Blues by 45 points at Ikon Park on Sunday afternoon

In near perfect conditions, the Zebras booted six straight in the second term to eliminate a 16-point quarter time deficit and set up a ninth win from their last 10 outings.

It would be un-Sandringham like to shoot out of the blocks early, with the Northern Blues’ keeping the status quo and getting an early jump on the Zebras.

After Trent Dennis-Lane nailed the game’s first goal, the Blues went on to boot four of the next five majors. The afternoon was made a little tougher for Sandringham when Brenton Payne was stretched off inside the first 10 minutes with an ankle injury.

Blaine Johnson was proving to be a handful early, winning the footy both above his head and at ground level to boot two first term goals.

Laying just five tackles in the first, Sandringham needed a big lift in the second quarter to rectify a 16-point quarter time deficit.

and Huddos review
http://www.saints.com.au/news/2015-08-1 ... w-round-18
Daniel Markworth

Daniel had six disposals in the first quarter and then dropped away a touch after quarter-time. He broke the lines early and we got some scores from his run early in the match.

Brodie Murdoch

Brodie had a decent game. He kicked a love goal from about 50 metres out late in the match that showed how penetrating his foot skills are. He played on the ball most of the game.

Arryn Siposs

Arryn had a pretty good outing. His disposal was a touch sloppy on a couple of occasions but we know he’s a beautiful long kick so he will undoubtedly work hard this week on that aspect of his game.
