Thought Richo nearly let the cat out of the bag with how much influence he has on selection at his last presser when he nearly said "I" instead of "We" with regards to match committee selection...
FWIW, i think 99% of what is said at these pressers is spin and generic boring bla bla...I used to get peeved with Watters pressers about never getting stra9ight answers and as much as i like Richo and I do, he doesn't give up any more insight, perhaps just less BS and doesn't do it with that annoying grin that Watters used to have
As fans we all want to know the truth, and granted there would probably be no damage done if people were more frank in their interviews (like Armo has been lately). But, if you had to pick between the polish of Richo (and most coaches) versus the hostile but perhaps more open approach of Mick, you'd take Richo any day.
I wish they'd just cut out the BS cliches though and make the pressers a few mins shorter.
Hey plugger why are you being such a goose? Who cares who Tony is?? He gives us info we don't get anywhere eLse and I don't see why it's so important to fulfil a need to work out who someone is.

I couldn't give a rats who Tony is. I was pointing out to Gringo that Tony wouldn't be on the match committee or a coach because he was upset that someone would post on here if that was their job and then guessed what he did at the club. I have an idea try not to have a gander at my posts anymore.
Tony Elshaug (born 19 July 1960) Always thought Tony74 stood for1974
Might be Tony Antrobus
So did I but he just said he went to the footy in the 60's. Might be trying to get us off the trail. If he did go to the footy in the 60's then he probably close to 60 years of age. That has him being a trainer written all over it. And trainers probably hear more stories than anyone else at a club. He certainly was only a watcher until at least 2012.

I gave never asked for tickets, just to swap a couple of GF seats that I had been allocated so that I could go to the game with the people who I had stood with in the 60's, 70's, 80's etc.
Make of that as you will.
Sorry mate, I have gone over the top and probably cracked the s***s over not much. Anyway I was looking forward to going up against Collingwood with a chance to win, didn't want to hear that we might not be gunning at the win especially as we will probably drop off soon anyway with so many kids.
C'mon Tony, if you ever see two 21 year olds kicking the footy at the goals at Linen House, we kick quite a lot... Come out and we can have a SS catch up?!
