Rather than the negativity happening in the post below you may be interested that the manager of one of the better players of the opposition on Sunday met with the club on Monday evening. No names I'm afraid but no doubt will take your mind off that post.

Should have kept that to yourself, Tony. But thanks anyway. If it was Dylan Sheil, then I'd be over the moon.

Seems to me that our club is in very good hands at the moment.

Oh, right. Fair enough. With our salary cap situation, let's hope it's a big contract that this player is after

The manager will most likely meet with all the Melbourne clubs

Great news.

Dylan Addison is just the sort of player we need to take the next step.

Bugg's manager.....to apologise???

But seriously, I said during last year's trade period that I'd be willing to give up old leftie to get Treloar in red, white and black, and that hasn't changed.

We're screaming out for a genuine A-grade mid, and this guy is it. Not gonna be, he is now.

Now I know the pre season draft hasnt been a factor, but w need to use it if we finish last.
Dylan Sheil would cost us our first pick and we can't use this. We need it for best 18 year old. If we could get a Shiel for free would be a bonus.

Dream scenario (if we finish last)
Pick 1 best young mid eg parish
Pick 19 best available running mid
Pre season draft Sheil or Treloar
Free agent - eg Sloane

Dream on

Does your nut need to be included in the cap?

Please be Treloar!
Also saw Mav out preseason with Trent McKenzie and Prestia. Prestia is welcome to come to the Saints as well.

Lachie Whitfield would be my choice based on the type of player we need. Others mentioned also more than handy too. Wouldn't complain.

Treloar or Shiel would be amazing.

How did you come to that? I wouldn't care if he can play anyway. He hasn't been as good as I imagined he would be so far but he's very young. I don't care if he's the gayest guy ever if he can play well.

I would be very happy with Whitfield, he was good early when the game needed to be set up, and his foot skills are as good as anyone going around.
