Sinclair
I thought Jack Sinclair has shown heaps in his few appearances so far this year.
Got heaps of the ball when came on as a sub and very effective disposal except for his missed shot at goal in the last quarter.

Re: Sinclair
Agreed but he physically looked like a 'kindergarten kid' in size compared with the GWS 'kids' who are 3 years advanced on him.StPeter wrote:I thought Jack Sinclair has shown heaps in his few appearances so far this year.

I think he may prove to be an excellent choice in future years, as he matures physically.
Re: Sinclair
Really? I thought he held his own size wize. Eli looks skinny out there. Of couse Jack isnt tall but he didn't look at all like a ki dergarten kid out thereMr Magic wrote:Agreed but he physically looked like a 'kindergarten kid' in size compared with the GWS 'kids' who are 3 years advanced on him.StPeter wrote:I thought Jack Sinclair has shown heaps in his few appearances so far this year.

Re: Sinclair
There were only a couple of 20 year olds for GWS playing this week, most of their gun kids are now around 22, Jack just turned 20. We're also talking about a rookie compared to the best young talent in the country.

Re: Sinclair
Eli looked a kid way out of his depth (so be it, they are almost all young anyway) however Sinclair looked composed despite his lack of size.St Ick wrote:Really? I thought he held his own size wize. I would be happy to start him and have Eli as the sub, alternate if we have to. Just pump games into these kids!

He kinda reminds me of Tony Brown. Not sure why...size, movement
I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Thought the same. Warmed up in front of us. Re: Sinclair
There is a lot to like. For a rookie pick up, I think we will be looking back on him being a "steal".....

Re: Sinclair
Sinclair has a strong athletic type build, I think he could be a steal.
Lonie & him look very good prospects.
Templeton had a poor game & will reserve my judgement on him for now.

Re: Sinclair
Think Mr Magic may have confused Sinclair with Lonie. Great kid and think he will continue to do well when given the chance.
SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!
Re: Sinclair
i hope he gets a full game against the suns when him and lonie where in the middle the saints looked way more dangerous going forward mainly because they can kick the ball better then anyone else that was out there for the saints disposal lost us that game.

It truly is amazing what a difference good kicking makes.gessdoss wrote:i hope he gets a full game against the suns when him and lonie where in the middle the saints looked way more dangerous going forward mainly because they can kick the ball better then anyone else that was out there for the saints disposal lost us that game.
1 good kick is more effective than 20 ordinary ones. You really notice it these days. Sticks out like the proverbial.
Sometimes when I watch the Hawks play I wonder if they are using the same kind of balls we use. The difference is so stark. Even in the way the ball spins.

Yes I can see that too -- chunky, compact, the way he holds his head.PJ wrote:He kinda reminds me of Tony Brown. Not sure why...size, movement
Tony Brown 175mm 80kg
Jack Sinclair 180mm 80kg
Sam Mitchell 179mm 84kg
Don't know what weight Mitchell was on debut. But there is a small chunky player Jack S might like to emulate

Re: Sinclair
Don't know about Sinclair but I feel Lonie may be a very good player. Uses the ball well, seems to make good decisions and slippery as a bucket of snot. He's only little thoughWinnersOnly wrote:Think Mr Magic may have confused Sinclair with Lonie. Great kid and think he will continue to do well when given the chance.
Re: Sinclair
I also see something in him. Much taller than Caleb Daniel who many wanted. He is about the height of Brent Harvey.bigcarl wrote:Don't know about Sinclair but I feel Lonie may be a very good player. He missed a sitter but we'll let him off that one. Looks like he'll might get a full game this week after Richo's comments that he was strong last week. Saad the sub?

Hmmm Something seriously wrong with my stats.
And how often have I slammed the club for not giving us accurate ones.
