Pretty much says it all.

It's been a tough year, but we've weathered the storm and the future is looking good.

Geez, how many times can one person write the same story?

It's like J K Rowling belting out endless volumes of that wizard tale

amazing how you can hide the future and there is one as caro reluctantly admits- 'moving forward"
Now the Saints have targeted a top-level CEO and will next week outline their vision for the future while searching for that new boss along with a new co-major sponsor for the club.

>>>>>>>>>>>
The St Kilda board was to meet on Thursday for its regular monthly meeting, in which the subcommittee searching for the new chief will report and the visionary post-review message to the rest of the football world will be finalised
and nothing about how they have Outgrown the facility....
Further underlining the communication issue is the fact that Terry Dillon's commercial team is planning a wholesale migration back to Moorabbin.

The club says there is no point trekking out to Seaford if it's unnecessary, but it again highlights the folly of that relocation, which still irks the players and the entire football department.
.... really give us a break ...I know of people that travell to melbourne from the country every day- for 1 hr 30 min, others travell across melbourne for the same time.. and newer players Live in the area.... they should thank their stars that they are far enough away that the media can't be bothered sitting on the doorstep..

Read more: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/m ... z2hsnxjW1T

ohh well we've all logged on( not paying though.....) to see what's happening..
still 2 sides to every story and several ways to present it...

Interesting line.....'surely the board...has conveyed to Watters that his style needs to undergo a radical change'

From that line, it looks like Caroline Wilson is placing the blame in Watters's lap. Looks like the message from the board to the coach is "Step into line with the management team, or a contract extension will not occur"

Perhaps public persona and football club persona are poles apart. Wouldn't be the first coach in that category. Anyway, I'm glad the air is being cleared and lines of communication are being defined. It can only get better from here, surely.

It's interesting reading it, most of that wasn't revealed on here previously by any of our "experts". it's good that the likes of Caro can't wait to tell us the state of flux, even if she
does it multiple times.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Has anyone heard that Watters will be sacked to be replaced by Rob Harvey? Harve's to be mentored by Spud.

Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

I don't think she went back far enough - I think a lot if this stuff with Watters and Pelchens started when Plugger threw that crutch after the tribunal...

That said what us going with the Watters needs to stop being delusional bit??

Geez this club amaze me - Nth are a mess what happens?
1. Get experienced CEO in
2. Get gun assistant in
3. Get gun silky mid in
4. List off field profit

Like Freo - they said we need to get the best and got them. Scott has nothing to Whinge about
We need to be ruthless or get left behind

Christ, the leak has become a tidal wave.

I can only assume this is what the board want conveyed, because otherwise we need to work on our plumbing ... :|

'The coach's post-incident spray was poorly received.'

What part of 'don't set little people on fire' could be poorly received?

I was under the impression that Watters spray and talk to Fisher and Armo had the backing of the board and Pelchen?

This is the same "journalist" that wrote about three thousand articles about how StKilda FC had demeaned and degraded a poor innocent schoolgirl, and NOT ONE apology.

Summers said senior coach Scott Watters agreed to buy into a new streamlined football department under Pelchen during a heart-to-heart talk last week.
“Scott has said to me, ‘I’m on board. I want to succeed at this football club’,” Summers said.
“I said how do you feel about this structure? He said: ‘I’m in’.
Clearly signs of a club riddled with division?

BUT Caro said Scott must be delusional _ Peter obviously thinks not...
Even this week, Watters and his manager, Colin Young remained convinced that a new deal would come before the start of the season, perhaps believing that a change in chief executives would immediately achieve that result.

All this despite the fact that Watters almost lost his job at last week's specially convened meeting at the club. Surely the board, or its key football director Andrew Thompson, has conveyed to Watters that his style needs to undergo a radical change. Surely someone has communicated to him that he faced termination.

If Watters' football department staffers, along with other Saints administrators, believe the coach has laboured under a number of delusions, the coach's vexed position is just one in a long list of communication failures at the club over the past season.

Oh well. We've had issues, we've dealt with them, they'll be reported for a couple of weeks, and then the football world will move on to something else. Sometimes it helps to break the cobwebs.

What part of 'don't set little people on fire' could be poorly received?
I think it was a bit more than that - what motivated them to hire 2 DWARVES in the first place?

Could it be that the dwarves were only there because the players were trying to take the piss out of someone in particular and that someone got their nose a little out of joint?

I wonder who that person could have been?

hmmmm???
