Therefore, of the players that Ledger might displace in the team, who has worse skills than him?

JONES ...

The only problem there is that Ledger's defensive running is also an issue, so how does he replace a tagger??[/quote]

Not sure we really need to tag anymore like it's going to save us from a bigger defeat ..? See alot of easy ball going back the other way with Dal and Lenny not really running hard the other way so why not try the Ledge and see what he can provide ..?

I reckon he'd do OK in the lower grade Ammos considering he'll have finished top few in a VFL team B&F three years in a row?!

Two options going fwd for Tom
1- WAFL.... He'll dominate, get rookied by WCE or Freo like Mark Hutchings. He'll average 35 a game for Claremont
Or
2- Freo will rookie him next year and Ross will bring out his best
tom would not dominate at WAFL level. the ground are much much bigger over here. still someone question marks on ledgers tank

doubt wce would look at him. doubt he would get a game at freo right now

I am hoping we have told him he will get a couple of games before the end of the year which is why he doesn't seem too distressed about his position ATM. He deserves a run in the seniors at least.

Don't know how there could be question marks on his tank when he's consistently racking up huge disposal figures and has been particularly good in final quarters. Sure, he'd take a while to get AFL-level match fitness but I don't think there would be many fitter state league players.

I not sure how you can tell if a player is distressed or not unless you talk to them or they at least do some media. And with only 2 games left i doubt we have promised him anything.

Must be something that we do not see on field as otherwise does not make sense not given games now. Papers marked my guess - goodbye.

tell that to the VFL state team that struggled to run out the game over here

No it's not. You obviously miss the whole point of my post. Isn't Gilbert playing?

Gilbert may well be playing, but it will be at Sandy, not for the Saints.....
Are you sure?

How many AFL listed players played in the state game.... Ledger has been full time on an AFL list for 3 seasons, done three pre seasons, trained everyday as a professional sportsman.... Touches the footy 30times a week in a far stronger comp than the WAFL

I'm sure hell be as fit as some part time WAFL footballers ......

FFS Mark McGough is one of the best players in that comp and he's a tractor.... Big grounds don't effect him...

Settle petal. Not rolling any eyes at you. Only at the thought that SW might give him a game. His numbers have been the same all year.

Is that post from one of the coaching staff? Who else would know that sort of information?

no idea Berg but it was posted in saints section, that they know/heard Ledger will play in the last two games. No idea if it will be true but we will find out this Thursday/Thursday week. I'm hoping it's true kid has a massive wrap atm.

If we are picking sides one week before we play a game then its time every coach was sacked. Its obviously crap but is a chance of happening and then the poster can tell us he really knew it was happening.

Kicking or decision making/composure??

His kicking technique is very good and he is one of the few players who can kick naturally on their non-preferred...

To me, it is hurried disposal....

Cockie and Ledger have been the clear Stan outs in the VFL at Sandy... Better than any who have been dropped and promoted...

We must be tanking then.My guess it many will end up better than both those players.

SW on 3AW talking about Ledger.
- been in reasonable form over the last few weeks
- still areas that he needs to improve on
- just because we are losing doesn't mean everyone gets a game
- still have standards that have to be met
