2013 Member Stickers !!

There must have been a problem with the first batch of member stickers that were sent out. We received replacement stickers in the post yesterday with an explanation that there was a problem with the UV and the ink in the first batch. I suspect that there were complaints about fading.

I put the first couple on the cars about a week ago. When they fade I'll change over to the replacement stickers !!

I was very pleased to get these, my stickers faded within 4 weeks

Lets hope that its the suppliers/AFL, and NOT the club who are footing the bill for sending out the replacements !!

I put my sticker on my car on the 22nd. It's looking very ordinary now.

My sticker as of about 2 weeks ago. Had been on for about 4 weeks.

havent put my stickers on anything yet.... but now that I have the old and new I might put the old one up in the kidlets room somewhere and the new one on the car.... lets hope I dont get them confused

Imagine how long they would last here in the West, with our relentless sunshine. Be faded after a couple of days.

I never put mine on my car until after Easter most seasons, when the sting has gone out of of the sun somewhat, then they don't looked too faded and last the season.

I've been noticing some very faded 2013 Freo stickers on the backs of some vehicles of late, possibly used the same supplier as us this time.

Actually I got a family membership with the Ahmed Saad rookie card. I bought a family membership the last two years and they seem to have discounted my other years of membership. I don't care enough to get a new one as no one will ever see it except the gate dude. It would be a good idea if you are going to get the members rewarded for service if you got them right though. I don't know how many years membership I have had as there was a few odd years when the kids where babies that the membership went on the mortgage but I would have been at least 10 full years membership.

thanks bratty, I know calling would work just rather save the plastic and not get another one. I will just ring them before next season and remind them- i'm not offended or likely to care about it but not a good look for the precious types. The last time I didn't renew was a long time ago but maybe was at other address or something. I think it was going to a family membership confused them.

the kids are wanting to deface the car with pink black and white stickers and have the lunch bag replaced- mum chucked the 2012 ones so the pack had better hurry up.

Stickers would last longer in QLD as they don't have daylight savings.

If you read the letter that came with the new sticker it sounds like it was a club error and that club had to pay to get them re-made. I think someone forgot to put specify to use UV ink in the order!!
