Academy Director to be appointed in next Fortnight

According to Pelchen on SEN this morning.

Also said that the whole lot of staffing appointments were coming together nicely. Mentioned all the coaches, Max and Aaron and Burge, Low etc.
However he also mentioned that we are getting a couple of new physios also. First time I have heard about this

The Saints must have plenty of coin, even after the 1.5 mil loss in 2011, to be able to afford ALL these employees..

1.5m is the accounting loss only. hard to tell the real cash position from the outside, but you generally have to spend money to make success in this game.

So, who is the tip for the job? Gone very quiet on the Ayres front. The Club used to leak like a sieve with information, but seems pretty tight these days.

i was standing next to some dudes at training who thought they knew everything about the club and how to cure any of it's short comings....
maybe one of them will be the Academy boss...

they are aalso getting an extra approx 3 mill from theAFL next year. and the new coaching regime is where i think its being spent on.

Chris Pelchen referenced the Opposition Analyst would be a couple of weeks away but he has always said it's important to get the appointment of the Academy Director right and there is no set time-frame on this.
