I choose to remember the first time I saw his gorgeous sidestep.
And his goal in the fiirst grand final that really gave me an oppurtunity to believe.
I can't see him being sacked or walking out of the club. I'm hoping that he uses this incident to train hard, improve his game and try and win back the respect of his teammates and his fans.
I could give a $hit what anyone else thinks about him. As long as he's in red, white and black, I'm behind him 100% of the way.

The captain of a leading AFL team who has done everything by the book on the field and off the field for a decade, finds himself fronting a press conference after photos of his dodger are circulated world wide. They are only circulated because a team mate is extremely careless. If I were Nick I’d be beyond furious.
Yes he mentioned SG at the presser and that seems to have got some on here a bit riled. But in the circumstances, saying he’s “bitterly disappointedâ€

Yes, he made a stupid mistake, but there was no malice involved or intent to embarrass or harm the club or his teammates.
That belongs to Kim Duthie.
Gilbert has apologised publicly and I'm sure will do so privately.
This will blow over and Gilbert will remain a key to our plans in 2011.

I think we should form a lynch-mob and go and get this guy. Burn down his house, etc. What he's done is up there with the Holocaust, the atrocities in Burma and Zimbabwe, what was going on in Iraq and the Victorian Govt's decision to build a massively expensive desalinisation plant, when they could have built a couple of dams (producing far more water) for the same price (and without the ongoing yearly costs of billions of dollars).
