Baiting is a bit difficult to define. Take perfectionist's ranting and/or insulting anti lib threads. Obvious baiting/trolling. But despite not agreeing with a lot of it, it makes me laugh, at much at the consistency of the poster as the stuff posted. Wouldn't like that stuff censored. It helps colour the forum.
In the end we're all adults or in some cases, supposedly engaging with adults, hence we should accept a level of difference in behaviour and be a lot more tolerant of people's posting styles. To censor them would be to deny them the opportunity to participate in the forum.
It all seems a bit one sided - asking people to be moderate in their posts, rather than asking members to be moderate in their attitude towards the posts. In the end if you don't like a posters style, or you don't want to engage with them, simply put them on ignore. I find a lot of people in society that advocate for tolerance are anything but when you scratch their particular itch.

If Perfectionist's posts are obviously baiting/trolling, the same must be said for Stinger's equally insulting anti-Labor threads.

It will be interesting how these rules are applied in both their cases. Moderation must be impartial, and equally applied to be successful.

Having an opinion on controversial topics such as religion and politics is not baiting but people are probably going to disagree ... And respectful debate on the topic welcome ... Abusing posters not welcome.

Great traffic.

Also great respectful footy topics and discussion despite a devastating loss.

Yep, hoping moderation will be impartial, and tolerant. Enjoy the debate both of them create.

Should change the rule that stops posters from posing information contained in PMs into the public forum that relates to discussions with administrators and moderators regarding any administration or moderation issue.

Remove the secrecy and corruption and bring the silent majority out into the public forum.

so whats the next plans for the site??

banner...tick
more mods....tick

did the quote function get fixed?
(if i have to explain the prob with it again ill just give up on this one)

what about the look and functions we talked about ?
anything planned update wise in the off season as the site still kinda looks....boring
whats the status with the 'owner'?....is he part of it all now or not interested now three things have been done and he thinks its all good enough?

i havent been here for quite a while, needed a break from bashing my head against a wall, yet not much seems to have changed?

whats the go for the future and whats the time line to do it?
8-)

2. Impossible to do without system being exploited

That sort of exists already ... it is called the ANIMAL ENCLOSURE and only restrictions are to comply with the laws of Victoria and Australia.
