What about...
Saints:
In Hill and future 2nd
Out Steven, Parker 3rd Rd

Freo:
In Kelly, Parker 3rd
Out Hill 1st & future 2nd

Cats:
In Steven 1st Rd
Out Kelly

Parker and Kelly are mates from WA. He is behind Long and Lonie in our line up but has showed enough to have some currency. Would be a good story though my kids would be sad to see him go.
Gaining a future 2nd Rd pick when we look to putting together a 2020 bundle for Ben King might help.
It also leaves us our first pick to shop with.

Steven to Geelong and on trade Geelong first round draft pick to Fremantle for Brad Hill.

Free agency bid for Stephen Hill with front loaded contract for Fremantle to get an extra second round draft pick at minimum. If Gold Coast outbids us and Stephen chooses to go there then that is ok too. At least we tried for Brad’s sake.

Our first round draft pick and a small forward or back flanker to Gold Coast for Ben King. Unfortunately White might suit as he needs opportunity.

Constable for a future second rounder to Geelong.

Tomlinson as a free agent. Only costs the cash we spend.

In: B.Hill, B.King, Constable, Tomlinson (and maybe S.Hill)
Plus: draft 3 more mature players from VFL, SANFL, WAFL and this has to include a back up tuck like Galt from WA.

Possible return: Robertson
Return to fitness: Webster, Geary, Carlisle
Plus: debuts from M.King, Bytel

Out: This year FRDP. Next year SRPD. Steven. White. Cap space spent.
Retired: McCartin, Longer, Armitage, Pierce
Delist: Rice (perhaps pick up again as Rookie), may rehire one other delisting if S.Hill is secured)

AwayInUSA no longer ... have based myself back in Melbourne for a decade of Saintsational Success (with regular trips back to the USA)

Would be amazing trade period if most of this could happen. Not inconceivable, although Gold Coast might want a bit more.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
