Training in a construction site. That's not really ideal I would have thought.

As ex-president Peter Summers said:

I fell out of the SC many Saturday nights after drowning sorrows after a loss or celebrating a win.

Best night when Plugger came back with his Brownlow

Yeah, had many of good nights in there, I remember one night when I had a massive night in there with the Flying Dutchman as a young bloke, Essendon smashed us that day, but the Dutchman taught a young bloke a good education on how to pick up hot ladies, haha!!!!!

Some mates and I put in a huge night there a long time ago with one Robert Muir and his family. Ended up in the statesman later on with the Muir boys on our way to hitting the pubs in Brighton. Most of the night is blurry but I can still remember clearly one of my mates saying "I'm really blind but I can't go home because I need to be able to tell people I kept up with Robbie Muir on the turps."

Any stories Enrico?????
- Many happy post match drinks and renditions of the song whilst we waited for a few of the players to come up and get interviewed.
- Interstate games on the big screen.
- Thursday night trivea, meal, team selection, and player interviews.
- Remember going there after the 97 prelim to get my Social Club queue number and staying till all hours drinking with total strangers who were all floating on air
- Even remember when the B&F was there in the 80s (before it went up market)

Still remember watching a bloke - pissed as - come out the back of the Huggins at the top of the outdoor stairs and nearly fall to his death. Pretty sure it was at least 3 or 4 levels high and the railings up the top level where barely standing up. He nearly flipped over the railings. His two mates grabbed him by the hips and legs to save his life.

I'm surprised no one died on those concrete stairs out the back.

Errrrr in the “Disco day’s heyday” the old Jiggster was another hemisphere away! However....... I still have fond memories of going along to the Trevor Barker room to watch a few interstate games on the Big Screen! On one memorable occasion the Saints won and the whole room was chanting along “St Kilda! St Kilda!” ..... it bothered us not one iota that the players couldn’t hear us

I also attended two interstate games there last season and it was great! Good simple food, reasonably priced, and beer ! Plus good chats with other Sainters! It really IS so much better to watch the game with other Saints in our own Social Club, than to be alone on the couch!
