POLL: When should we sack Elshaug?
Tony Elshaug is our master recruiter - the one who has helped create this marvellous team we have.
Alas, all good things come to an abrupt end at some stage.
When shall this be?

When we get a replacement...
All well and good to sack him but then who does the job better...
Ppl need to think that through

Just go by the draft predictions by the better predictors (as long as they haven't interviewed a nice family). Saves heaps of money and then we can say that that's where player X would have gone in the draft (if they turn into a dud). Win-Winskeptic wrote:When we get a replacement...

No sackings in this modern age, even though he has committed historical selection crimes. His contract will not be renewed; in the meantime his decision making powers will be neutered. He may then make brief appearances in the parish of SEN to rewrite history and claim no recollection of certain picks, saying he was in the mens room at the time.

I am assuming that you said this so that we could re-write history and get Petracca instead of Paddy.fugazi wrote:2013
What everyone is missing in this debate is that Paddy at Melbourne would be playing at the feet of Hogan, getting the second best defender, probably not have been concussed and would be kicking 2-3 per week - meanwhile we would be playing Petracca off the HBF and he would be getting 2-3 per week - that's possessions not goals.
Paddy in any top eight side would be tearing it up - he just needs confidence - look what happened when he just said f@rk it and had a ping from 55 out - the lad can play - we have just cruelled him!

Re: POLL: When should we sack Elshaug?
thats my angle on it as well
thread after thread commenting on how each of the boys we picked
would be more than earning their keep in other sides
its a development issue so lets sack a recruiter ... please explain
its actually a passion issue
but the pencil pushers dont do passion
so how about we sack those fuckers first

The No 1 recruiting task for the club is to recruit a great recruiter.

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.
