Votes v Crows
Such a disappointing fall-away in the second half. The lads below were far from perfect, but I think they and one or two others gave 4 quarters.
4. Dunstan
3. Ross
3. Roberton
3. Geary
2. Savage

Re: Votes v Crows
Dunan - clear best, dominated Sloane -30 disposals to 15, highest efficiency of the mids by some way. Well done.
Savage - good game, lots of it and effective
Ross - lots of it, not so effective but also led us in tackles
Coffield - composed game by the debutant
Marshall - gave us an extra man around the field.
The rest of the team deserves a kick in the butt - good first half by Sincs but he stunk with delivery and did bugger all in the second half. Acres great early but faded.Steven got a lot but coughed half of them up.

Re: Votes v Crows
Marshall was good early, but Sauce destroyed him for 3qtrs, so don't really think he deserves any votes (although he did OK), Typical St.Kilda supporter mentality, let's over inflate the new guys tyres.
As I stated earlier Rohan did well early, but Jacobs turned the game by providing an arm chair ride for their mids as the game went on!!!!!

A young guy off the rookie list in his 2nd senior game went head to head with a mature ruck who would be in the best 3 or 4 rucks in the AFL.
I thought he competed hard, was beaten but not disgraced in the hit outs but importantly won some ball himself and tried to be an option running forward.
While probably two years away, I believe they should stick with Marshall as he looks more competitive than Hickey and his football skills are already significantly superior to Longer and his ruck work will develop and also eclipse that of Billy.
Votes - very hard to give.
5- Dunstan - clearly best
4 -
3 -
2 - Savage & Ross
1 - Sinclair (first half) Acres
Coaches award: Coff & Marshall, really pleased with these two youngsters/ inexperienced players.
Really outside of Dunstan I couldn't see a clear winner for us all night.

Re: Votes v Crows
Longer was ok. I thought he was strong at the contest and I don't worry about meaningless possessions or stats. It didn't matter that he didn't get a mark or lay a tackle. I give him 2 votes
And please don't bother telling me what I already know. Yes, he wasn't out there, but so what?!? If it's ok for kosifan to give votes to a Cats player then I may as well give votes to Billy

Good player Rhys. Totally understand and based on the evidence I'll have to change my vote. Billy just gets 1kosifantutti wrote:Stupid Autocorrect.
