Yep thanks for the post - looks to be the case confirmed on 3AW too.

Or did Clearly say the club only confirmed on a modified program for next few weeks? Hmmm

Reports from the intra club he only played the first third... but no report of injury...

he isn't playing aflx or jlt so no major loss there and he should be ready for round one. Could be a lot worse so staying positive.

Did he brake down like a Group 1 race horse?
Or is it the fibula? (Out for season) :D

He will be ok. Rd 1 and the season is whats important.

Mmm. He is one of the faces of AFLX and is now not playing. I smells something fishy.

Ice him up...save it for the fringe players, rookies and kids.

Alfx is just a gimmick. It means nothing so play the fringe players. Nothing to be gained.

Explains his limited time during the intraclub match. Most important thing is to get him cherry for our first game.

According to my son who watched them train at Peninsula Grammar yesterday, Billings was jogging laps with Jack Steven and didn't take part in the drills that the forwards and midfielders were undertaking (while my son was watching).

This may indicate there is an issue but obviously not a Jason Cripps like injury.

Those doubting billings not wanting to play - perfect opportunity for these 4-5 year players to lead the group. They would be keen as mustard with more senior players most likely giving it a miss. Builds momentum. Well you would hope given a high performance environment.

Does that mean a grade 1 (possibly 2) tear?

Or does tightness just mean that as such?

Maybe tony can clarify the detail. I’m any case it’s minor

I read he is not playing this Wednesday but could play next JLT game. Personally don't think it is worth the risk or only play him for a quarter next game.
