I thought it was rubbish and turned it off and watched "I'm a fool, get me outa here." instead.
That's exactly how i felt watching it, Saynta. I was a fool for watching it. Get me out of here!

Most aren’t waiting for us to lose.

Hopefully we only picked him up to fill a hole like Brown. If Armo is fit he must play ahead of this guy.

And, please don't play Lonie ever again. He's just too short and not good enough for his (lack of) height.

I don't want it to fail but I went tonight and wouldn't go again. For a format that is supposed to be exciting it sure gets old quick. It's like a sugar high that wears off fast and leaves you feeling empty

I'm still keeping an open mind, but there were some aspects of this whole new spectacle that need tweeking. I only heard about the rules and the format of the actual game, when I made an initial comment, but wasn't aware of the razzle dazzle and the fact thay even called a supergoal a 'zooter'. Get rid of that for a start. I realise the game has to evolve and there's gen y and the milleneals to appeal to, so who knows? It took people a while to get used to 1 day cricket and T20 so this might be AFL's answer to creating a shorter version of our great sport

"Played with a silver football.
Goals from outside 40m are known as ‘Zooper Goals’ and are worth 10 points."
why did they omit "the abba song 'supertrooper' to blare out after every zooper goal and zooper icy poles to rain down onto the crowd"
Geez...who wouldn't want this to succeed...

Image
I think that photo sums it up.
It's 20/20 cricket except that the greasy chicken bucket is replaced by some guy taking a dump on another guy's head.
And as an afterthought they've added a lady in a rainbow top to tick the inclusive boxes.

Top shelf!
If the guy on top slips will the guy underneath’s head disappear?

Serious question. Possible shitty outcome.
