Love Jack Steele.
Minor set back.
Doesn't worry me in the slightest.

Why would the club not keep the members informed if this is true.

If it's that serious shouldn't he have been on crutches?

Was he on crutches?

Broken fibula is normally 6 to 8 weeks. It would have to be multiple breaks in the bone for it to be more than that

Plus if a fibula use of the moonboot as a treatment would suggest that is a more minor fracture.

A moonboot is used for foot or ankle injuries and possibly a lower leg injury dependent on what it is. It may be related to his foot injury last pre-season. Who knows. If true anyway, it might just be a precaution measure due to the heavy workload of pre-season training.

A fibula would not keep a player out for an entire season in December pre-season. If it was Rd 22 that is a different story.

You would imagine that if it happened it happened outside of football; in either case the media would be all over it.

Wouldn't they?

If it happened during the Xmas break he would have gone straight into surgery and would not be weight bearing yet moonboot or not.

A clean break could be 3 to 4 months with no complications. A season off would indicate complications and then he would definitely not be weight bearing.

This sounds like BS.

i've done a fibula

eeeek

couldn't let them pop my knee
to insert a rod
so it was full cast on crutches
then half cast

moved up to jindy
tramped around the lake for the last 6 months
scaring trout

off with the cast

the first job back on site
walking floor joists with a floor to fall

that was a puckered up experience
