Saints top 5 players

Post: # 1701061Post parkeysainter »

Looking at the brownlow and the season along with Nick retiring, this is my 2018 top 5 in no particular order.
Ross - mid
Steven - mid
Billings - hf/wing
Carlise - chb
Roberton - hb

It's a very strong top 5 in my opinion and covers different parts of the ground. All are very capable of making the 40 man AA squad next year too.
Would anyone swap a player in/out?

Billings is the only 1st round draft pick too. It shows very good talent can get picked up after the 1st round and developed into A grade material.

That's looks about right for his year next year I think Jack Steele with a full pre season may get in over Roberton.
He is showing elite inside abilities.

in all seriousness there will be some contenders to bust in to the top 5 next year.

i reckon any one of sinclair, acres or billings could be right up there but based on 2017 your list is about right

That would be a good little consolation for not reeling in a big fish.

Parkey. You are like the propaganda arm of the Nth Korean Military.
Next you will be telling us Matt Finnis hit a hole in one and scored a 52 at Royal Melbourne.

Bonus if he goes top 10 on 2018.

I agree. And don't forget Gresham.

Con G my friend, you have too many positive ions flowing through your system. Time to replace them with some negative ions.

What's this about a top 5? Why not a top 10? We should be aspiring to get 22 blokes into AA contention.

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Not a great top 5 IMHO...very blue collar.

When Gresham and Acres stake their claim we will be traveling better.
