Coach for the night
Some of us have been critical of Alan for being too passive on game day. Last night was not a red letter event for J. Longmire which leads me to pose the open question what would you my, forumistas, have done: for me, once it was clear Dangerfield was hot (say two goals and several frees) I'd have put Kennedy on him (Kennedy was doing nothing). I'd also tell Buddy to lead the two talls on him away from the goals and give instructions to the mids to kick to alternative targets. Bench Sinclair. Also bring some gratuitous hurt to guys like Rhys and Motlop - I think they would start taking half steps. I reckon the margin would only have been 40 points if they listened to me.
